Carnival time!

Yesterday there was a carnival in the village park. Like the Junee show but better (sorry Junee show committee).
There were coconut shys (really), Tombola (?) cakes stalls sumo suits, rides and jumping castles. There were also these great slides for the kids. S thought that Jack was up to it but I thought he might be a little young. He enjoyed watching the kids sliding though. They had jumping castles and we thought that would be great but the strict age limits on each castle had fallen by the wayside and we were concerned he might get poleaxed by a big kid (or vice versa).
Anyway fun was had by all. We watched the (oooooooooooooooooooh) globe of death (motorbikes inside a metal sphere) which was okay but really just makes me think of Homer and Lawrence the Legend. And we couldn't resist getting Jack this hammer.
